The short answer

An AION i60 quotation should identify the model year, powertrain, grade, battery, rated-range cycle and dated purchase conditions together. Older and updated vehicles must occupy separate rows. A low entry offer cannot be combined with the range or equipment of a different configuration. The guide below distinguishes freshly retrieved corporate information from manufacturer references retained in the existing article, then shows how to obtain a quotation that can be checked without guessing missing trim prices. The official corporate article includes older and updated vehicles. [R1]

Why the name alone is not an adequate specification

A familiar model name can cover vehicles with different batteries, equipment and purchase terms. A search result may show an older review beside a current promotion, while an advertisement may lead with the cheapest available vehicle. Combining those fragments can create an attractive car that no dealer is actually selling.

Build an identity line before collecting numbers: China market; AION i60; model year; battery electric or range extended; complete grade name; build or vehicle-identification details when allocated; quotation date. Each technical figure and each price should be attached to that line. If any field changes, open a new row.

This approach also protects valid older-stock offers. An earlier configuration is not necessarily a poor purchase, but it deserves to be judged on its own hardware, condition, ownership terms and discount. Calling it the latest car would hide the real comparison rather than make the offer stronger.

The current evidence register and its limits

The table deliberately separates what was retrieved during this review from information retained with manufacturer links in the earlier guide. A retained reference is useful context, but it should not be described as newly verified if its source cannot currently be fetched. Obtain a current manufacturer-issued configuration before signing. Earlier range-extender descriptionsDo not substitute an older range label for the updated vehicleRequire the matching original specification; no old trim price is inferred

Electric-only range and combined range answer different questions. Battery capacity is another measure again. None should be placed in a single unlabeled “range” field. Where the source has not established a figure for a particular grade, leave that cell unconfirmed instead of filling it from a nearby vehicle.

How to read the two September price references

GAC Group's 16 September 2026 corporate report gives a limited-time range of RMB 103,600–134,800. The existing guide retains a 24 September AION launch reference recording RMB 106,800–134,800 across the updated configurations and discussing an earlier 530 version separately. These are dated references with different scope, not verified live transaction prices. [R1][R2]

The difference does not establish a subsequent price increase, a discount available to everyone or a particular grade's price. Without the full offer conditions and matched configurations, each of those conclusions would go beyond the evidence. The starting amount is especially unsafe to attach to whichever specification is most attractive.

For purchase decisions, replace historical promotional ranges with a dated quotation. Keep the old references only as market context. Ask whether a quoted reduction depends on trade-in eligibility, financing, purchase timing or another condition. Record both the headline amount and the amount payable if the condition is not met.

The specification fields that need to travel together

Use separate fields for rated electric distance, test cycle, battery capacity and combined distance where applicable. Add the manufacturer document's issue date or screenshot date. If a battery number is described as gross, nominal or usable, preserve that label; if the source does not specify the basis, do not invent one.

Charging deserves its own row. Ask for the AC input specification, the supported DC charging claim, the state-of-charge interval and any test conditions. A peak power number cannot by itself establish how long a routine session will take. Do not transfer an older model's charging claim into an updated configuration without evidence.

Record drive equipment and assistance features by grade, including any optional package. A headline describing a technology family does not prove that every vehicle includes the same sensors or activated functions. If a current official table is unavailable, obtain a dealer-supplied manufacturer document and retain the unresolved status until the evidence is adequate.

A quote template that prevents accidental mixing

Ask the dealer to complete one sheet per vehicle. A useful sheet does more than list the price: it makes the relationship between the vehicle and the offer explicit. The buyer should be able to return to it a week later and understand exactly what was being compared.

Where a salesperson provides a separate attachment, write the attachment's title or date on the quotation. Keep the equipment list and the purchase conditions with the quote. If an item is verbally promised, ask for written confirmation of whether it is standard, optional, included as an accessory or supplied after delivery.

For an allocated stock vehicle, inspect the identity and condition with the dealer before treating it as equivalent to a newly ordered car. Ask how the warranty commencement and delivery dates will be documented. These are verification tasks, not a claim that older stock has a particular defect or disadvantage.

Quote fieldWhat the entry should identify
VehicleModel year, complete grade, powertrain and allocated vehicle when known
Battery and rangeCapacity basis, electric-range cycle and separate combined range
EquipmentStandard features, options and installed accessories
MoneyCash payable, conditional discounts, finance and mandatory charges
Delivery and supportTiming, service location and applicable written warranty terms

Worked example: a comparison that looks valid but is not

Consider an invented advertisement summary with an entry amount of RMB 105,000 and a long-range label taken from a different version. Beside it, a competitor is shown at RMB 115,000 with its actual quoted configuration. The apparent RMB 10,000 advantage is not meaningful until the i60 entry vehicle is identified. These amounts are teaching examples, not real dealer offers.

Now suppose the dealer supplies two separate rows: an earlier-stock vehicle at the first amount and an updated long-range vehicle at RMB 125,000. The corrected comparison asks two different questions. Does the earlier vehicle meet the buyer's needs at the lower price? Does the updated vehicle justify its own price relative to the competitor?

The correction does not force a winner. It removes a false combination of attributes. Keep the competing vehicle's identity equally precise, including its model year, grade and incentive conditions. A comparison becomes fair when both sides describe cars that can actually be purchased.

Separate fitted equipment from technology language

An announcement can discuss a development programme, a supplier, a sensor or an assistance algorithm. These are different types of information. The presence of one does not automatically prove every function associated with the others. Write down what the purchased grade is documented to do, where it operates and what the driver must continue to do.

In particular, references to technology lineage from Level 4 development should not be read as a declaration that the retail i60 offers Level 4 automated driving. Assistance and automation concern the role of the driver and the permitted operating conditions, not merely the prestige of an algorithm description. NHTSA's explanatory framework is useful for this distinction, but it does not certify the Chinese-market i60. [R7]

Request a demonstration of the functions in the quoted vehicle and read its instructions. Record any separate purchase, activation, subscription or market restriction. Future promised capability should remain a separate note rather than receive the same purchasing value as a function available at delivery.

How to evaluate an older vehicle fairly

An older configuration can be a rational choice if its capability is sufficient and the complete offer is attractive. Compare the real price saving with equipment differences you care about, the charging routine it supports and the planned ownership period. Avoid treating a model-year label as a complete assessment of value.

Ask to see the specific car's inspection and handover information. Confirm the included accessories, software state, warranty documentation and any maintenance requirements linked to time as well as distance. Where a battery assessment is supplied, record its method and date rather than turning an unexplained percentage into a broad reliability claim.

For resale, use a sensitivity range rather than a confident forecast. A lower purchase price can be partly offset by a lower eventual sale price, but the size of that effect is not established here. The fair question is whether the deal remains acceptable across plausible assumptions, not whether the future can be predicted precisely.

Turn the evidence into a durable comparison record

Keep a dated folder with the specification, quotation, financing terms, warranty and your demonstration notes. If a public source changes, the folder preserves the evidence used for the decision. It also makes disagreements easier to resolve because a technical claim and a purchase promise are not left in separate conversations.

Assign a status to each important entry: manufacturer documented, dealer confirmed, personally demonstrated or unresolved. These labels describe the evidence, not the quality of the vehicle. A personally demonstrated phone connection may be sufficient for one task, while a battery warranty requires written contractual terms.

Update the table only when a relevant item changes. A new discount changes the cost calculation; a new grade changes the specification comparison; a different charging arrangement changes the powertrain decision. The powertrain guide explains how to reassess the latter without mixing technical ratings and actual journey needs.

Model-year and price questions

Can the cheapest offer be described using the best range in the model family? Only if the offer explicitly identifies that configuration. Otherwise the price and range belong in separate rows. This rule applies to all brands in a comparison.

Are the retained manufacturer references independently reverified? The AION launch and configuration pages could not be re-fetched for this update. Their status is disclosed beside the relevant figures; no fresh validation of their full trim table is claimed.

Does a later date make one price universally correct? No. The offer's vehicle scope and eligibility conditions matter alongside the date. Obtain a current written quote rather than choosing whichever historical figure supports a preferred conclusion.

What is the next step after the table is complete? Calculate the complete cost and test the vehicle against the household's routine. Use the ownership-cost guide and the overall buying framework to connect accurate inputs to a useful decision.
